The Team
BORN ON THE WATER
Growing up on the lakes of Ontario, fishing wasn't just a hobby—it was a way of life. Today, Chris and Stefanie Weir are a dynamic duo on the kayak circuit, combining tactical precision with aggressive finesse strategies.
CHRIS WEIR
Tactical Strategist
Chris Weir is a kayak tournament angler, husband and second generation fishing addict.
Having spent much of his life with a fishing rod in his hands, Chris has over 30 years of fishing experience. This has led not only to specializing in fly-fishing for large migratory trout, but also expanded into a great depth of knowledge and experience with various types of multi species angling.
Chris applies this bank of knowledge and experience to tournament fishing. This allows him to better break down new water with topographical maps, matching the hatch and predicting the affect of other factors (wind, waves, weather etc).
Fishing is a way of life for Chris, not just a hobby. When fishing, Chris finds happiness, mental clarity, competition and community.

STEFANIE WEIR
Intuitive Artful Angler
From the open skies to the open water, Stefanie embodies a life lived with adventure and grace. As the lens and one of the rods behind CSW Outdoors, she approaches fishing with a deep appreciation for the environment and the beauty of the sport. Based in Ontario, she sees every cast as an opportunity to learn and every catch as a memory to cherish.
Her love for the sport shines through in her competitive endeavors on the Ontario Kayak Bass Trail (OKBT). Here her patience and passion recently earned her a 2025 Big Bass Award in the Tri-Lakes tournament with a 20.00" catch, as well as becoming the OKBT Top Female Angler for the 2025 season. Blending her drive to improve with her passion for the sport and her artist’s eye, Stefanie captures the soul of kayak fishing—sharing not just the fish, but the feeling of being out on the water.
