Chris Weir is a kayak tournament angler, husband and second generation fishing addict.
Having spent much of his life with a fishing rod in his hands, Chris has over 30 years of fishing experience. This has led not only to specializing in fly-fishing for large migratory trout, but also expanded into a great depth of knowledge and experience with various types of multi species angling.
Chris applies this bank of knowledge and experience to tournament fishing. This allows him to better break down new water with topographical maps, matching the hatch and predicting the affect of other factors (wind, waves, weather etc).
Fishing is a way of life for Chris, not just a hobby. When fishing, Chris finds happiness, mental clarity, competition and community. He could not imagine life without a line in the water and loves to share this passion with others.
